A paddleboarding school or rental business is a very smart plan. It's a lot of fun, very rewarding, means plenty of time on the water and can also generate some good income. Even just doing basic rentals, sitting there at the beach or lake and charging $20/$25 an hour per board, can soon pay for itself. However, if you take it a stage further and offer guided tours, fitness sessions, cruises, group sessions, etc, you can (and should!) charge a lot more.

So, what sort of cost are we talking about? We'll tailor the package to your specific requirements, but here are some sample packages to give you some ideas:
Personal Trainer Package: 3 paddleboards, 3 adjustable paddles & 3 leashes: $3150+GST
ideal for the fitness coach or enthusiast looking to take 1-2 clients onto the water for exercise sessions. This would also be the ideal package for charter yachts and boats.
School Fleet: 6 paddleboards, 6 adjustable paddles, 6 leashes, 6 belt-pack buoyancy aids, 1 foldaway safari pak, 1 10L dry bag: $6248+GST
Everything an instructor would need to take groups of up to 5 clients (a very sensible maximum number) onto the water.
Each board comes equipped with extra safety handle fixing points for easy towing and carrying. The safari pak and/or dry bag can be clipped onto the instructor's board to allow the carrying of food and clothing or other equipment for longer paddles
Rental Fleet: 9 paddleboards, 9 adjustable paddles, 9 leashes, 9 belt-pack buoyancy aids, 12v compressor: $8998+GST
Set your fleet up at the best beach for the weather conditions, and watch the dollars roll in! With the addition of the 12v compressor to inflate the boards while you get set up, you can park up anywhere, unload and go. Each board comes equipped with extra safety handle fixing points for easy towing and carrying.

All our products are fully proven in the rental/school environment - indeed, some of them we've designed specifically for that. They're tough, robust, versatile and user-friendly. Our adjustable paddles are fiberglass and nylon, much lighter and more user-friendly than the cheap flimsy aluminium products used by many schools, which are heavy and quickly jam up with salt. Our leashes can be worn on the calf or ankle. We supply top-quality Hutchwilco Beltpack buouyancy aids; the ideal solution for SUP as they don't get in the way.
